By the Court.

An act passed April 12, 1876 (73 Ohio L. 321), to prevent gambling and the sale of intoxicating *664liquors on or within a distance of two miles of Chippewa Lake, in the county of Medina,” is in contravention of section 26, article 2, of the constitution of this state, which ordains that all laws of a general nature shall have a uniform operation throughout the state,” and is consequently void.
